Violence is the expression of physical or verbal force against self or other, compelling action against one’s will on pain of being hurt. Violence is every where around the world. Each year 1.6 million people world wide lose their lives to violence. Violence is among the leading causes of death for people aged 15-44 years worldwide; 14% of deaths among males and 7% among females. Neurobiologist Jan Volavka says â€Å"violent behavior is defined as overt and intentional physically aggressive behavior against another person.† which means that people are just violent because they choose to be. People should help people that are having violence problems at home because they suffer a lot from violence. Sexual violence is not something to be played with, this is a very serious thing and people should help out the ones who been through it and not reject them. Another topic is physical violence. Physical violence can include hitting, grabbing, slapping, shoving, pushing, kicking, choking, scratching, punching, pulling, and hitting with weapons or objects. Physical violence may lead to criminal charges. In schools there’s a lot of physical violence that needs to be stopped. On 2002 there was a 12 year old boy named J. Daniel got bullied at school. One day he couldn’t take it no more that he hung himself in his closet with a necktie. That’s why school bullying has to stop. There’s also at home which is known as domestic violence. Domestic violence is used for one purpose only, to gain and maintain total control of you. The best thing to do if you have these problems is call the police because they can be able to help. Psychological violence is a n action or set of actions that directly impairs the victim’s psychological integrity. These things can be the cause for psychological violence intimidation, harassment, telephone harassment, or threats.
